It\u2019s\u00a0been a tough couple of weeks.\u00a0 I cancelled my vacation due to my illness, my sister\u2019s surgery, and the passing of a friend…<\/h1>\n<\/blockquote>\n

SORROWS<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

When storm winds blow through\u00a0our lives, we must\u00a0take time to learn the lessons and not let them come and go without growing from them.\u00a0We must stand strong.\u00a0Sorrow\u00a0cuts to the depths of our\u00a0souls leaving a\u00a0burrow that\u00a0can only be filled\u00a0with time,\u00a0love,\u00a0and God\u2019s comfort.\u00a0It can cause us to take a long hard look at our lives, it can cause us to cry and cry aloud to God.\u00a0However, if there was no sorrow, there could be no joy.\u00a0 If there was no storm, there could be no rainbow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

ITS PROPER PLACE<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

God promised to give us joy for mourning, and we must be patient and wait for His gift.\u00a0\u00a0Yes, it may cut deep into our spirits.\u00a0 Only\u00a0when we understand that God\u00a0is molding us, shaping us, refining us\u00a0for His glory, will we allow\u00a0sorrow its proper place.\u00a0\u00a0Stand, my brothers and sisters.\u00a0Continue to pray.\u00a0 Continue to love, and continue to trust God to walk us through the sorrows.\u00a0 He has done it before, and He will go it again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A GREAT LEGACY\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

I dedicate today\u2019s reflection to my friend, Edgar Lovelace, who made his transition to heaven a couple of weeks ago, and to his family, Dale, Tonya, Cliff,\u00a0Carmen, Mark, Sonya, Jo, Phil, Ben,\u00a0Ria, Camille, and Dwayne.\u00a0 Continue to encourage one another; you are so good at that. Edgar left a great legacy in each of you.\u00a0 You are going to be just fine.<\/p>\n

Edgar, you dubbed me your guardian angel, but now you are among heavenly angels.\u00a0 You are \u201cclothed in white garments\u201d, rejoicing with the Lord.\u00a0 I rejoice on earth with you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
