A DIVINE CONNECTION?<\/span><\/h3>\n

At first, I thought my mom was exaggerating. As God would have it, on several\u00a0occasions I witnessed the divine connection between her and the red bird. Sometimes it was me who was struggling and she would call me on the telephone and say, \u201cHoney, I just saw a red bird\u2026God says everything is going to be OK\u201d. \u00a0Since my mother\u2019s death, my children, grandchildren, siblings, and I see red birds too. Whenever they appear, they linger long enough in a space to let us know our God has sent them to bring comfort.<\/p>\n

MAMA RET’S FAVORITE\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

It came to me ask God for a redbird on this day, a gift that I desperately needed. Silently, I did just that. \u00a0I went back to watching television actually not thinking about my prayer, intent on being sad perhaps. \u00a0Within a few minutes, my husband whispered, \u201cLes, look, there\u2019s a red bird, Mama Ret\u2019s favorite.\u201d \u00a0He had no idea that I had just asked God to send one to me. \u00a0I witnessed the most beautiful red bird that I had ever seen. He flew so close to my window I thought he was going to fly into it. \u00a0He fluttered his wings for a couple of seconds. \u00a0Just long enough for me to notice him, and then he flew off and perched in the magnolia tree in my front yard. We watched him for several minutes. \u00a0If my husband hadn\u2019t noticed the red bird first, I may have missed my blessing.<\/p>\n

A MUSTARD SEED \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I encourage you to have faith. \u00a0Faith the size of mustard seed will do, for starters. \u00a0His sacred Word says, mustard seed-sized faith will move mountains. \u00a0I have learned that turning everything over to God, frees me of worry. \u00a0It\u2019s all in His hands anyway. \u00a0I am most grateful for all the \u201cred bird \u201c visitations. Whenever I see one, I thank God for the gift, for His unconditional love. \u00a0I invite you to receive God\u2019s daily blessings. \u00a0Ask and you shall receive. \u00a0What He did for me, he will do for you. \u00a0His love can show up in any form because He created everything. \u00a0Trust Him to give you comfort.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
